Sideral punishment: capital punishment with a chair instead of an axe. From the Italian sedere, to sit down; the English sidereal, relating to the stars because of the sparkles and the Dutch sidderaal, the electric eel (for obvious reasons).

It seems the world as percieved by paradigmal cogniscence is nothing more than a place where "coincidences have a relatively high probability of occurrence" (to quote Peter Carroll about science); a particular expression of the quantum (im)probability, the larger domain of the living and the dead cat, which seems like the general fields of investigation unvisited by our awareness. We always percieve the surface crossing between the unexhaustible possibilities and our own consciousness. Expand the consciousness, the surface expands but remains a thin foil eliminating all the other possible worldviews. Only when consciousness is finally dissolved awareness of the hole can be replaced by awareness of the whole.

It seems more I grow old, more I get isolated in loneliness, emphasizing my individual consciousness. On the other hand according to kaballah one should prepare itself in the vicinity of death to let go the individual in order to flow back into a bigger wholeness. The way humans mature and mistake make it even harder to realize this. Our ego seems an encapsulated virus from our awareness.
