Maybe Logic DVD Review

Wonder is a wonderful thing. Wonder helps learning and questioning. Without wondering we would be lost. To wonder facilitates exploration when perhaps others do not. Robert Anton Wilson has never lost that ability to wonder and explore and because of that is able to open the senses of others. This DVD shows how he does that with Maybe Logic.

Watching this film, I was immediately struck by Robert Anton Wilson's demeanor. He exuded peace, tranquility and humor, while speaking monumentally. His explanation of quantum mechanics is as clear as the layman that I am has ever had it explained. There is another segment where he makes everyone a Pope that levels religion beautifully and explains Maybe Logic.

Cuts of various times and places in his life show some of the many aspects of RAW. His appeal for pain relief via medicinal marijuana is poignant and seems to me would be very hard for any human to refuse. His direct appeal to President Bush probably has never been viewed by the President but it should be. Robert Anton Wilson chastises the president and then apologizes to him through his Buddhist beliefs at a demonstration for legalizing medicinal marijuana. Maybe number 43 will see it one day.

This DVD should be seen by everyone. It should be seen because of the man, RAW, has thought about and studied a myriad of subjects and through that has come to conclusions that can be accepted without undermining one's own beliefs and maybe opening a door.

Being a pessimistic optimist myself, being exposed to maybe logic has helped the optimistic side become a little stronger. Maybe Logic has also congealed a plan that was not there before. Not only that, my life partner had a wonderful reaction and actually went from yes/no, to, yeah, maybe. And if doors of thought can be opened for him, maybe by seeing this DVD doors will open for others. If you have wandered across this DVD and have never heard of RAW you should get this DVD. Everyone should see this because just maybe this can help the winds change as he has helped me and those around me change.

The music and visual effects are fitting and do not take away from the DVD but enhance it. The way the DVD is edited makes sense. Maybe Logic is a very powerful experience.
