Editor Welcome: Maybe Logic Academy – The First Year

Welcome to the third issue of Maybe Logic Academy’s student publication, Maybe Quarterly Summer Solstice 2005 issue. In this issue, we continue the format that we have previously established, which is to offer editorial content on a wide variety of subjects. This matches the interest-level of the Maybe Logic Academy student body, which spans many educational disciplines and subject matters.

In this issue, we are presenting a special finance white paper, which is dedicated to the current financial mess in which the USA currently finds itself. This research paper has been peer-reviewed by members of the finance community, and they have validated the information within this document. The Federal Reserve dollar seems on the verge of collapse, and the paper also provides solutions that the reader may implement, so as to not see their own financial life collapse concurrently with the destruction of the U.S. economy.

We are also presenting an interview with divination scholar and sidereal mythologist Michael Tsarion, on the subject of how evil came to exist on planet earth. This is a subject that has interested me since I understood the differences between right and wrong, good and evil. As Beatle Paul McCartney stated during the interviews that were a part of the Beatles Anthology book, published by Genesis Publications:

“God is just the word good with the ‘o’ taken out, and Devil is the word evil with a ‘d’ added. Really, all that people have done throughout history is to personify the two forces of Good and Evil.”

--- Paul McCartney, from the book, The BEATLES Anthology, page 18.

I thought of the preceding quote when I read Michael Tsarion’s book entitled Atlantis: Alien Visitation & Genetic Manipulation. In this book, ancient myths and artifacts are examined under the thesis that ancient cultures has left evidence of alien visitors who were variously called the Watchers, the Annunaki, the Serpent People, and the Nephilim. These ancient cultures all left behind stories of visitors from the skies, who possessed great power, but lacked in morality. On page 25 of his book, Michael Tsarion presents his central thesis, which is as follows:

“Though no two writers wholly agree on the question of evil, or an alien presence, according to the most coherent theories, the visitors are usually described as being of dubious morality but possessed of great mental and technical power. This writer is relatively convinced that they were headquartered in Atlantis, and that the notion that this continent was the center of all that was elevated and good is erroneous, being founded less on fact and more on wishful thinking.”

If the reader keeps an open mind while reading the transcript of this interview, they might get a notion why it is that world leaders and members of the global elite can think nothing of murdering tens of thousands of people in the wars of this planet, and then profess to themselves follow the philosophies of some of the world’s preeminent leaders of religion and spirituality, such as George W. Bush claiming that Jesus Christ is his favorite philosopher. How could these mutually exclusive concepts be so closely held by these leaders, who represent not We The People, but the forces that truly pull the strings of these political puppets? Michael Tsarion has some rather unique answers, and these answers might make more sense that the reasoning put forth by the political puppets themselves.

Since I have been studying the Mystery Schools and the knowledge they hide from larger society, I personally have come to recognize that the esoteric is always much more interesting and informative, than the exoteric explanations given to the rabble --- explanations which always fall apart once the concept of mathematical logic is applied. This is the subject matter in which Michael Tsarion specializes, and it is my hope that all readers of the Maybe Quarterly will enjoy his unique perspective on a period of history that has been simply left blank by establishment historians the world over.

Also, we have a review of the new book about the life and comedy of American comedian and political philosopher Bill Hicks, which was written by his lifelong friend Kevin Booth, of Sacred Cow Productions. Since the book was published on the very same day of the publication of the last issue of the Maybe Quarterly, I did not receive my personal copy in time for the review to appear in the last issue. Bill Hicks: Agent of Evolution is the definitive book on the life and early death of a man who continues to inspire more than ten years after his death at age 32 from pancreatic cancer. Written by his lifelong friend and colleague Kevin Booth of Sacred Cow Productions, this is a book that tells it like it really was, warts and all. The book is a real page-turner, and should be read by all fans of Bill Hicks. I personally give it my highest recommendation.

In this issue, we also feature the wonderful artwork of Bobby Campbell, who has designed a highly symbolic piece of art, exclusively for the Maybe Quarterly.

As we will be celebrating our first year of Maybe Logic Academy next month, I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank our readers for all the wonderful and positive feedback that we have received concerning this publication, which is designed, written, and edited by an all-student staff. It has been my personal pleasure to have played a role in organizing and publishing the Maybe Quarterly, under the auspices of the wonderful and supportive people of Deepleaf Productions, the company that runs the Maybe Logic Academy. It has been extremely gratifying for me to have played even a small part in the success of this relatively new venture.
