Maybe Quarterly Colophon

To produce and edit this second issue of the Maybe Quarterly, all of the following Apple Macintosh computer hardware and software was used:

The computer used was a Macintosh PowerPC G4; with dual 1.42 GHz processors, a 2 MB L3 Cache per processor, and 2 GB of DDR SDRAM. The monitors used in this system are dual Apple LCD flat-panel screens; with the 23-inch monitor set to 1920 x 1200 resolution, and the 20-inch monitor set to 1680 x 1050 resolution. This publishing system also contains dual DVD-RW burners; a Pioneer DVR-105, and a Toshiba SD-R1312. The audio portion of this system is powered by Altec-Lansing tower 5.1 surround speakers, which is used primarily to listen to music during the editing of this first issue of the Maybe Quarterly.

The operating system on this system is Macintosh OS X, codenamed ‘Panther,’ which has been flash-updated to version 10.3.6 --- the most up-to-date OS patch, as of the time of the writing of these words. Other requisite software is Microsoft WORD X (Service Release # 1); Entourage X (Service Release # 1) for e-mail and scheduling; the Apple Safari web browser (version 1.2.4); Netscape 7.2 web browser for online compatibility testing; Dreamweaver MX 2004 (version 7.0.1) professional website production suite; Adobe Acrobat 5.0.5 for PDF creation and publication; and Thomson ISI Research EndNote 7.0 for research citations.

The scanner-printer utilized in this system is a Hewlett-Packard PSC 2210 Thermal Ink Jet printer, capable of printing high-resolution 32-bit color prints and proofing sheets. The paper used in this printer is Max-Brite 24 lb. ink-jet paper which boasts a crisp 94 brightness. This is used both as a proof and final document printer. The flatbed scanner i

Snacks eaten during the production process include; Wild Cherry Pepsi, Kellogg’s Pop-Tarts™, and Entenmann’s Cinnamon Buns. Beyond this, the editor imbibed in the following mood-altering substances during the production process (which were taken only for purposes of spiritual ascension) were; Marijuana; Salvia Divinorum; and a flavorable red-wine soaked with Blue Lotus leaves --- which were crushed to make a very special treat favored by the Ancient Egyptians.

For the occasional break from work, the editor spent time attending birthing class with his wife. Our wonderful little Anthony Owen had come into the world on February 28, 2005. His arrival has brightened the world for his parents, and they love him very much. He has been so transfixing and wonderful, that the editor nearly forgot about the deadline for this issue.

The final publication of the Maybe Quarterly has been in the oversight of the wonderful administrators of Maybe Logic Academy, working under the name of Deepleaf Productions. All told, the editor spent approximately 50 hours organizing, editing, and producing this second issue of the Maybe Quarterly.
