Maybe, the synchronicity suggests that we're supposed to have this conversation since we're thinking along the same lines.  Like, the conversation will help take both of us to the next level of thinking about the topic.  So, I have to share more.  This thought led to a tangent . . . I imagined Thoreau & Emerson writing letters back and forth, and wondering if so many of us at the forum aren't like different sets of artists/theorists/philosophers throughout the past whose works kind of bounced out of casual (or drunken)  conversations they had with each other.  Then, I thought, how weird that I thought of the transcendentalists and  - the esoteric/exoteric, outside & inside simultaneously thought is in itself transcendental.  Then, our ability to find each other on the web to have this conversation transcends time & space, so that we're not limited to conversing locally with people whom we've worked through the laborious task of meeting.  I thought that it must have been transcendental thought that dreamed up such notions as the internet, electronic mail, forums, etc.  And with this great tool, imagine the barriers we can transcend simply by having this conversation, and sharing the fruits of it with the world to continue conversing upon.  My goodness, we should be progressing by leaps and bounds compared to any previous thinkers that didn't have the luxury of this technology.  And I know we will; the internet is the spaceship of consciousness . . . so here I come to visit your planet . . . the tangent was a little detour I had to tell you about.

Ok, wasn't it Einstein who said something about the important time that comes into each human's life where he has to ask himself, "is the universe friendly?"  I had a troubling thought that disorder could just be a controlled phenomena of a higher order than any of us are capable of perceiving.  So everything is still imprisoned to a higher will.  Then, I started thinking, ok - what would that higher will be?  Then I thought,  I may abuse, mistreat, or neglect some of the cells of my body, yet, the entire body continues on just fine.  Likewise, I'll always be a microorganism on a more complex greater organism that would be Universe.  I shouldn't feel a need to fight universe, because it still is the hosting organism that allows me to inhabit it.  So, I don't have to try to fight the higher order, because I want for the universe to do whatever is necessary to remain in balance and guard its own survival.  I try to communicate with my own cells and with the universe all the time in my own form of meditation/magick.  I dance around my living room, and imagine the cells dancing inside & out of me trying to find the common beat that harmonizes the mutual will of all my cells, my consciousness, and the universe.

Then I think of disorder/higher order, and realize that any concept of god involves ultimate perspective.  Thus, the more perspective we gain, the more god-like we become - as we can see more & more of the big picture.  To me, being godlike is not a matter of gaining power & control.  It's more, gaining more & more understanding so that you can empathize with more & more of existence.  The more and more we understand our cohabitants, the less harm we induce, and the more capable we become of helping each other for universal benefits.  And as we'll always be inhabitants of a higher/more complex organism, the more conscious we are of how we treat simpler beings should make us more accepting of how we are treated as the minutia of higher systems.  The way we treat ants, and plants, and pets may determine how the higher systems treat us.  If I can casually wipe out an entire trail of hundreds of ants or viciously yank out the roots of a bunch of weeds . . . could I really feel cheated when the universe decides to brush me out of its way via hurricane/earthquake/meteor?  I think looking at things as parts of a whole which is only part of a bigger whole helps to keep a pretty bracing perspective of the elasticity of our realities.  So when I do my little rituals, I free all my cells by telling them, if they'd rather, they can leave the form that is me and go be anything else in the universe that they'd like to be.  Then I offer them the deal of a lifetime (my lifetime).  Likewise, I tell the universe all the things I'd like to do, and ask that if my individual will alligns with the greater will, that we may harmonize and move together in that direction.  My direction being, to fight all repression, opression, and supression that man inflicts upon his cohabitants to sever each from his/her/its own independent will.  In short, to whisper the "why not?" here & there until everyone asks themselves that question and finds the freedom to be what nature intended for them to be.  I think the universe creates each individual as a hole to fill itself with exactly what the universe needs for balance (this can be applied to yin yang symbolism too).  So, the universe allows the play room that are the holes it creates as kind of a gamble that the individual will know what he/she should be to best complete the universe . . . the hole that completes the whole.

Sorry this was so long . . . I only went on cause I figured you could stop reading when ever you got bored (another internet blessing - the ability to transcend the courtesy of having to hear out someone's long-winded schpeal in its entirety).

Thanks again!
