Jeannine Davies, a researcher in the area of human consciousness and co-creator of the World Dharma vision, assists Alan in the Instinct for Freedom MLA course.


Course
Introduction

Jeannine Davies has had a decade long involvement in exploring the interface of human consciousness with nonsectarian spirituality, western and Buddhist psychology, and awareness-based insight meditation. Since 1999 her areas of interest has expanded to include modern physics.

In 2001 she traveled to Burma, where she researched the parallels of meditative insight with modern physics. In addition, she undertook an extended period of intensive meditation training under the guidance of a leading Burmese meditation teacher.

 

Jeannine is currently a pre-doctoral student in psychology at Saybrook Graduate School and Research Center in San Francisco. Her academic research interests are in the physics of mind and consciousness and its relevancy in higher human development and evolution.

She resides in Vancouver, B.C. where she maintains a private practice, and is writing her first book on the convergence of consciousness, modern psychics,   psychology, and society.
